Character Profile: Nishi Morgan

General Description

Nishi is a kind of Magic-Knight, called an Aquaknight, who specializes in using Water magic to better maneuver around in water and deploying it mostly for defensive purposes. He is one of many knights who protect the town of Farraigaea and the nearby capital of Solais, Fios. While easygoing in nature, he does well at his job in his own way, even if it doesn't always please his superiors.

Fighting Style

Like many Magic Knights, Nishi can use both martial and magic artes, albeit in a more tank manner. While his physical and magic power is lower than most other characters, he boasts high stamina and can withstand more attacks than everyone else. He can also draw in enemy attacks to keep his friends protected. Despite having better defenses, he is still more susceptible to magic attacks as he is still just a normal beastman.

Inspiration

Admittingly, part of him is inspired from Zelos from Symphonia, where he can be a bit of a flirt while also keeping up on appearances. He just lacks the overly narcissists attitude that tends to push people away from him. He does have his own flair of nativity and not knowing how the world works, as even when things go wrong he tries to make things right.

Story

Nishi was born into a family that's served the kingdom for as long as they can remember, mainly acting as guardians who act within the waters that are part of their land. And be it human or beastfolk, they help train them in their ways through strength and magic artes. While he is quick to help people in trouble, he is somewhat vain about his appearance. While his family has scars to show the battles they've had, Nishi will try to keep up his appearances partly out of reputation and other personal reasons. Although he enjoys his looks, he loves the scent of adventure even more as he desires to travel beyond his home, just as his mother once did. And after an incident that involves helping his new friends, he'll have that chance to do so.

Wrap-Up

Some aspects of the character's are always subject to change, and Nishi is certainly someone I may be touching up on a lot. I am dead set on the kind of development I want for most of the cast, but anything can happen.
