Character Profile: Krista

General Description

Krista is a pirate, and daughter of the 'mighty' Captain Bluebeard! She acts as the muscle of the crew, with power over ice; and although she might look intimidating, she can be really chill and friendly. She enjoys exploration and fighting strong foes, and has a knack for treasure hunting.

Fighting Style

Similar to Aki, Krista is able to dual-wield axes that she carries by her hips. While she is capable of some magic, she tends to rely on her brute strength that tends to make her somewhat slower than most but bulky in other places. Depending on how the plugin works, she'll either have a single weapon slot that covers to axes, or allow her to wield two different axes at once if the plugin can prevent her from doing a second attack, given how the system works, without repeating the same animation.

Inspiration

As far as muscular characters go, Krista is inspired from Kongman from Destiny. While she uses axes, many of her artes are derived from him. She isn't 'as' boastful as him, though personality-wise she's closer to Mary (also from Destiny); where she has an interest for cute things, but she can be knowledgeable and helpful a lot of the time.

Story

She's been with the crew since she was little. Having been found at sea up in the north, she was initially mistaken as a feral beast, rather than a sentient being. They warmed up to her and do what they can to raise her right. She loves her father and crew, though she loves to explore the lands that she sometimes visits. Through fate, she encounters Aki and party on many occasion, and soon gets a chance to have a real adventure on land.

Wrap-Up

I haven't had much of an opportunity to work on the game, as I've hit a busy period right now. I'm still commissioning animations and will implement them through Dragonbones when able.
