Vera Animation Sprites and Current Plans

Recently, I have obtained the last of Vera's basic animation sprites, and all were edited into DragonBones so they can be implemented into the game proper. Here are a sample of animations to expect:

Of course, I'm still deciding on how to go about her artes in relation to her earlier profile. I'm thinking of having some of her artes be the kind that remain active and become a base for a stronger arte, kind of like a FOF (Field of Fonons) from Abyss. In a sense, one arte can be chained into another to become something else entirely. Either way, it will require some in-game explanation when I get to it. It's also why I might not get to include her in the next update right away. I've been getting hit with other distractions and wasn't able to make time for this at all. As is, I'm going to make time and work on the Arena Demo. There are things to do and issues I will try to address, including:

Updated Enemies

As mentioned before, I now have access to more frames of animation for the various enemies I currently have. While not every enemy will benefit, as the ones from Destiny DC have yet to be assembled, any enemy I have that's appeared in Rebirth and Narikiri Dungeon X will see more frames of animation and attacks to go with them.

Lobby Lag Fix

At the moment, it seems there is something causing lag to occur in the main lobby of the arena. I'll have to see exactly what that entails, since performance-wise it seems to run fine on my end. It might be something else that may require a bit of digging on my end to figure out overtime.

Testing Different Font

It was suggested that I try a different font (i.e. Arial) instead of what I was using earlier. So, you will start seeing that next time.

Copy Change

William's Copy artes have been changed to Mimicast, as per suggestion. Given how they work, it seemed like a better naming convention.

Pop-Up Text for the Picnic Basket

A good point was made, that whenever one of the food tags go off, it should say which one went off. I should be able to do that rather easily.

Other Things for the Future

These don't necessarily pertain to the Arena Demo alone, and are more like long-term goals. I want to be able to implement some custom UI and menus so it isn't just the basic menu setup. This would be used for everything I currently have and maybe try to remove any wasted space I have (especially the Picnic Basket). Skits are also something I want to try out, once I figure out a good method to them. Of course, these things will have to come later since I don't have the income to properly commission every resource all at once.

One other thing I want to try out in the future is this plugin that was recently released called the Rosedale Collision Altering Plugin, which seems to change up how collision detection works with tilesets. I'm going to look more into it to see if it's something I can actually use, but for now I have it wish listed. I have many other resources on here that are on this list if you are curious and wish to support me this way. No one is obligated to do so, of course. This is something I will work on, no matter how long it takes.

Wrap-Up

I have a lot to do as it is, but I hope you will continue to watch and see where this goes; and as always, thank you for your kind support!
